ART INSPIRES

Kendall Davis Clay enriches your life with objects to live with.

Kendall Davis has been a working artist and educator for over 30 years. A creator of small-batched hand ceramics with a background in painting and drawing, she creates pieces that are an extension of her one-of-a-kind artist series.

For years, Davis has always been passionate about creating and making art for others, which is reflected in her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University and Masters of Fine Arts from American University. With a range of designs that are all handmade and dishwasher safe, she hopes to add joy and inspiration to your everyday life with functional beauty and subtle simplicity.

Her fondness for pottery grew while she was in graduate school in Washington, D.C. She launched her business in 2018 after seeing a small retail space and felt like she could start the business as a way to further follow her dreams and pursue her love for art even more. Having worked in her mother’s boutique growing up, Davis is not new to the retail industry.

Handmade designs that inspire life.

My dream is to craft ceramics that fit seamlessly into your life. With a range of designs that are all handmade and dishwasher safe, I hope to add joy and inspiration to your everyday life with functional beauty and subtle simplicity.

Meet the Makers

Our team is comprised of women interested in thoughtfully designed objects

Christiana Lovfald

Christiana graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Ceramics. Her work focuses on engaging with the physical nature of reality. In a purely physical sense, she is able to mold and create objects out of the earth and its materials. In a metaphysical sense, she explores states of being, identity and change, the barriers of time, and the relationship between mind and matter. When she is not working at Kendall Davis Clay, Christiana spends her free time cooking, writing, playing music, exploring her own ceramic practice, and taking care of her two cats, Goose and Ella.

Jessica Brown

Jessica is a UNT honors graduate with a bachelors degree in drawing and painting and photography. Her work consists of mainly landscape photography inspired by her love of nature and desire to capture the tranquility of open spaces. Jessica also practices ceramics, mainly constructing functional slab built vessels and seeking ways to incorporate the texture of textiles in her pottery. At Kendall Davis Clay, Jessica is head of all glazing and photography.
