We are teaming up with the candle maker Apothenne for a two part workshop. 

Day 1 = Saturday, January 14th  from 3-5:00 pm you will learn the technique of slab construction to make a vessel for pouring your candle into. In addition, you will be able to glaze your piece with a range of colored glazes.  Kendall will keep your piece to fire in the kiln.

Day 2 = Saturday, Feb. 3rd from 11am - 12:00 pm at Apothenne's studio where your vessel will be waiting for you.  Jacqueline will teach you the science behind candle making; selecting the proper wick size, blending a custom fragrance and the techniques for pouring the perfect clean candle.
