This class will teach students the art of "Pinching,” the oldest method of forming a vessel. In addition to learning the technique of pinching, the class will learn how to pinch the handle directly from the ball of clay instead of attaching a handle with a separate piece of clay. This two-hour class is for beginners, or those wanting to practice. Students' work will be returned with Kendall's classic creamy matte glaze.

When: Thursday, Aug. 18 from 6-8 p.m.
